 Sou’wester Outfitting operates two remote
Newfoundland hunting camps on the southwest coast of the island of Newfoundland, one at the headwaters of Grey River (Loon Lake) and the other at the headwaters of Dolland Brook (Decker’s Pond). Both lodges are fully equipped and the only things that hunters need to bring along for their hunt are their personal items.
The Loon Lake and Decker’s Pond lodges are nestled within a virtual paradise in Newfoundland's rugged interior. Accessible only by air transport, each lodge can accommodate four guests at double occupancy for a week of unspoiled hunting. Other amenities include hot and cold running water, indoor plumbing and showers, generated electricity and either satellite or cellular telephone service.
After a day of hunting, kick back and relax in the comforts of a wilderness lodge. Each lodge is staffed by a resident cook along with the hunting guides. Gather around the dinner table for a home cooked meal while conversing among friends. Sou’wester Outfitting’s accommodations are among the most comfortable and relaxing on the island and all hunters compliment the home cooked meals and the friendliness the exists among the employees. When the day is over, a comfortable rest will prepare you for the next day. |
